My method of coaching has an emphasis on true alignment and a deeper sense of peace and well-being, allowing you to thrive through whatever comes your way. I believe this can be especially helpful if you are going through - or have recently gone through - a particularly challenging life transition, such as death of a loved one, divorce, job loss, midlife existential crisis, etc. These can immobilize us and lead us to feel stuck and disempowered.
Ideally, I would like to work with you for at least 3 sessions (plus homework and text support) over 21 days (it takes 21 days to engrain a habit!) to work through the energetic body. At that point, we can reassess, and you can decide what works best for you moving forward.
Before the first official session, I would like to meet with you for a free, quick 15-minute call, to go over my method and to provide you with two assessments to complete and send to me ahead of the first session.
During the first session, I will go over the results of the assessments and what they reveal about your current energetic body, along with my suggestions for how we can target our time together. You will leave with an action plan and tools to use from then until our next session together.
We will also talk about what's currently going on in your life and what you believe your biggest obstacles are, along with any goals you'd like to focus on long-term.
It's important to distinguish between life coaching and therapy and to state that I am not a licensed therapist. In general, life coaches are focused more on the present and future, with the primary goal of helping clients take a close look at where they are versus where they want to be, either specifically or with general mindset shifts. The past is explored only as a means of understanding your current life experience and belief systems. Generally speaking, licensed therapists are past and present focused and have specialized degree and clinical training, with an extensive knowledge of the mind, biology, and human behavior.
Although I can provide some guidance around tools that can help with dealing with some emotional challenges, I would recommend a licensed therapist for addressing psychological issues and mental health conditions.
